The Enabled property determines whether a Layer participates in the final output of its owning Layout.
Functionality #
When checked, the Layer is “enabled” and will appear normally in the Layout’s output.
When unchecked, the Layer and all of its children are excluded from the Layout’s output.
This means that disabled Layers will not be visible in:
- The Set Editor preview.
- Any exported or rendered outputs generated from the Layout.
Behavior in Layout Canvas #
Disabling a Layer does not affect its appearance in the Layout Canvas.
Layers remain visible and editable in the Canvas to assist with Layout positioning, alignment, and composition, even when disabled.
This allows you to toggle Layers off for export purposes while still being able to visualize and adjust them during design.
