What took me a week in nanDeck took me two hours in Cocktail

Absolutely love this piece of software. I hardly ever pay for software like this, I much prefer open source stuff, but when a paid software is THIS far ahead of the competition I feel stupid not using it. Absolutely amazing for hobbyists and professionals alike.

I couldn’t live without it.

Whether I’m whipping up a quick deck of cards, designing a set of tokens, or creating a complex set of interrelated card decks for a game, this is the software I turn to first. Cocktail is one of my favorite prototyping tools.

My best friend

I have a get-to-know-you style card game that has several different packs across several different platforms which all require different files for the cards with slight variations. I have over 1000 cards in my game. triple that when you take in multiple platforms.

Before cocktail I had to update individual files, meaning even a slight change meant updating hundreds of files, one by one.

Now all i have to do is update my spread sheet hit a few buttons and boom i can make a thousand card files in minutes. Cocktail just makes it so easy, I can now try different layouts, different wording variations and not have to worry about the time involved in updating the cards.

My game has never been better thanks to Cocktail – 5 stars.

Mistakes doesn’t matter anymore

I’ve made and published a few games thus far. Prior to using Cocktail if I had something I needed to change on all cards it would take me days to do as I’d have to manually go through all of them. With Cocktail a change turns days worth of work into a few seconds. No headaches, great support, and fast help this is by far the best card design program I’ve ever used!

Well designed, useful tool for creators

Regularly updated and very useful for developing and designing board and card games. Using spreadsheets as the information providers is revolutionary and it works very well. It’s still in development so more features will be added but it’s looking great so far!
