To create a new layout in Cocktail Card Designer, click on “File” in the main menu, select “Add New” to open the submenu, and then “Layout.” Alternatively, click the L* button in the main tool bar.

Creating a new layout automatically adds it to the project, and opens it in a new tab for editing. The “Layouts” heading in the project tree contains all layouts of the project.

An asterisk (*) appears next to it in the layout name in tab as well as the project tree to indicate unsaved changes in the layout. You will be prompted for a filename to save the new layout when saving.
